I'm sure others have already expressed this here, but I really enjoyed the Yellowjackets TV show, and also season 1 of The Terror (although The Terror is older).

I don't think I watched any horror films last year (not new ones anyway) Didn't even read a new horror novel (for shame) not any audio book...

as for short stories, its a tough one to choose because there have been so many great ones but @andy futuro - his 11:11 was immense as was @ap murphy's Blacksunblinded -

collections - "To say nothing of the dog" by James Roderick Burns is full of weird and often brilliant baffling gems - I always recommend his stuff I mean who DOESNT want to read a story with this title?:-

"MINUTES OF THE 237TH MEETING OF THE NORTH AMERICAN MAN-COW LOVE ASSOCIATION (APPROVED)"

Everything I read as part of the 12 days of Christmas: Dark Tidings was excellent, but let's not forget the stories from the Halloween fiction contest! Still haunted by Barndance from Sam Rake. Shudders... or should that be udders?

Best read: had a few great ones, but I'd go with the delicious horror of A Certain Hunger by Chelsea G. Summers.

Best watch: The Mortuary Collection starring Clancy Brown is fun and really well done. Grotesquerie had me hooked, and Scare Me was great.
