The November contest sticks out to me the most. I managed to finish a draft last month, I love the story, I just needed more time. Yes, when I heard that you had been working on a draft but missed entering, it is when we started considering these changes (along with others that we know take longer to write and/or are too busy to keep up with a monthly contest).
I fear I don't feel it would be fitting to join in the contest for this quarter, as I'm already posting chapters from my novel "The Big Tour", which has music (heavy metal and punk, specifically) at its core. Is there a way to tie my presentation in as a sort of thematic tag-team partner in spirit?
In terms of simultaneous/cross-promotion, I'm not sure. Marketing and collaboration projects have always been outside of my usual wheelhouse. I'll try to think of something.

Well, you could always challenge yourself to write about one of the other genres!
