I sound terrible. Awful. It’s not Maya’s fault (the chronicle), I sound stupid. I could stand exactly 5 seconds before I cringed and threw my headphones away. Literally. I’m so sorry...
Yeah agree. You have a cool voice. Great accent. Loved hearing you talk about your writing and inspiration. And thank you for the shout out. Both of you. Too kind.

Just finished listening. Kathrine, it was a delightful interview, it was great to hear your perspective. I agonized HORRIBLY when my interview posted. I dont think being interviewed ever feels good until after you realize it’s worse in your head than it is in reality. You did a great job, and—Maya, you did a great job interviewing as usual! This is such a great series, keep going!
Woah! Kathrine, you do not sound bad at all! I cringe at my voice (and every time laugh/interrupt) when I edit the podcasts. I felt we had a wonderful dynamic and had a great conversation! You expressed yourself intelligently and were so reflective! It felt like we were sharing a coffee and chatting.
This is the first MM podcast I’ve listened to, and it was so fun to hear you both! Kathrine, you were great! And I would never have guessed from your writing that you’re not a native speaker!
Oh shush, your voice is lovely. For what it's worth, though, I hate hearing myself, too. YouTube forced me to get good at tolerating my voice due to the need to listen back and edit, but I still don't like it.
And there's no shame in that fanfiction start! I think you'd be surprised just how many people got their start in the same or similar fashion.
I can only agree with others here. You sounded awesome and you handled the interview like a boss! Nothing to be ashamed of. I have to say that my interview with @Siva was way worse 😭
You are a lovely soul, I listened to half of your interview (still have to do the other half, yours was quite long). I think you did really well, don’t worry about it!🩶
Ugh... I finally got my act together and listened to the gibberish I said there, oh dear... okay, okay it’s not that bad. But it still sounded way better in my head. 😄
Great to know a little bit more about @Kathrine Elaine! (Did that tag work? Probably not.) I have a question as a fellow romantasy author: Oh, Chronicler who is your romantasy author friend?
Shit, it’s out? I didn’t know... ooooh, no, now I’m stressed. 😅
Ah yes, excellent, now I get to know the secret of your voice! Muahahahaha, and other such appropriately maniacal laughter.

Thank you, friend! And I promise that the interviews have been all stellar so far!

Great discussion! I too am a painter and agree the process of creating a painting is similar to writing a story.
Thanks for the mention too. 😁
I still can’t get myself to listen to the whole thing. 🫣
great listen, although I think you tagged me by mistake. I don’t want to steal TJ Patton’s thunder!
Actually I should have mentioned both of you. So, mentally, you’re there! You are a great writer!🩶
Another fantastic discussion in the books - or uh - on the stack? Regardless, love listening to these monthly discussions!
Fastest I ever clicked on new Substack post lmao. Listening to it right now!

Yes! It’s @laurajohnston ! She has some fantastic options for romantacy lovers
Thanks!
Which maniac?
My stupid, insine giggling and all the “uuums” make me sound like a maniac... 🤦♀️
Wow! Terrific page you put together here. The scariest one I've seen in a very long time. Good job and thanks for the mention! 👹👹👹
