Thank you for keeping the macabre train still Mondaying down the tracks.
My own two favorite features were the Wicked Writing contest and the Meet the Maniac features. Both seemed like a great way introduce (and find) writers of the ghastly.
Macabre Monday crew! How do you tag your list of mutants? What is the quickest way to make this happen? Maybe we can have some documentation from the team on the best process for this.
I only ever tag the main people involved, because i just cant stand the massive swathes of tags. They briefly had like a…roundup? And categorized the kinds of things people posted, if we tag them and they curate/categorize then there is (hopefully) no loss of fidelity or discoverability!
If we could train people to tag the mains, AND/OR if the MM post came earlier in the day, then people could point to that and the discovery would happen within the MM pages rather than intra-notes.
But—thats heavily predicated on me not being willing to tag dozens of people 😂 maybe not the best solution but food for thought if nothing else.
Oh, man, I wasn't aware that Maribel stepped down as well. I'm sorry to hear that, but I know this isn't the end of Macabre Monday. I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store next!
Regarding group ideas, member highlights are always good, as they afford other members the opportunity to see what others are doing. I'm all for that!
I'd love to know more about my fellow writers. Maybe frequent bite-sized interviews in place of infrequent larger ones would be better? More love going around.
I'd also love there to be a new (to Macabre Monday) author section. Let's meet our newest additions!
I'm wondering if there is a solution to tagging that we haven't explored. I'm not sure what this is, but I'd bet there is some great way to do this without manually adjusting tags (am I doing it wrong???).

It's helpful to hear from others about what is working and what needs work. I liked the round up, too!
Thanks, Scoot!
Interesting. I have been promoting this event with no idea who was behind it. Will continue to do so. A fun time.
Thank you to the new team for keeping MM going! You guys are so awesome!

Thank you for keeping us organized! I'm here if you ever need support.
Thank you so much for your kindness! I’ll keep in touch if we do need help ❤️
I love the contest and Meet the Maniac. The tagging is the worst part but that is substack.
Happy to see this continue!
Here are some of my thoughts:
The contest is fun.

Thanks for keeping this monstrous machine going!
