Monday is here again, and that means it’s time to share and show some love to the horror writers on Substack! It is nearly the end of November, and that means Christmas is around the corner (sorry Thanksgiving), which brings me to my question for all you horror fans out there:
What is your horror story wish list? If you could build out the horror section of your dream library, what would you want?
The Weekly Digest
A selection of last week’s Macabre Monday posts from our team.
Gather around our campfire as we highlight memorable stories, poems, articles, and notes from last week’s Macabre Monday offerings:
- explores cellars, tunnels, and the mysteries that make Victorian fiction so terrifying.
- published their MM Halloween night story, “wya?” Give it a read!
- shared a found footage horror tale, “Devil’s Promenade.” A reminder that sometimes curiosity does kill the cat ;)
- shared the incredible news that his final book in the Dracula’s Ghost series, Dracula’s Ghost - Apocalypse will begin publication on December 2nd!
- shared a historical fiction horror story, “First Branch of the Old Root Tree.”
- shared a flash fiction story, inspired by Robert Frost’s poem, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” A heart pounding read to start your Monday!
- shared a short story, “It Ain’t Just a Smile.”
My Christmas wishlist is time to read all these stories as well as the archives of these wonderful writers.
Thanks for including me among them!
