While most of the world celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with parades, green beer, and a sense of revelry, the true origins of the holiday are steeped in myth, superstition, and some terrifying folklore that has been overshadowed by festive celebrations. Beneath the cheerful clover and shamrocks lies a shadowy history, filled with creatures and curses that lurk in the mists of Ireland. Well…at least around here.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
