Dinner Time
Feast your eyes on the eccentric dinner party
The Dinner Party community project has come to an end and it can be described easily in one word—Chaos. That’s right; beautiful, confusing, hilarious and absolutely pure chaos. Don’t let that scare you away from reading it though, as it is pure gold from start to finish!
We’d like to take a moment and thank all the participants for bringing their absolute best so that everyone could have a wildly fun time. The diverse characters you all brought to life were perfect in every way and it brought so much richness to the project. You, the guinea pigs, have proven to us that community projects are worth the time and effort to organize so expect more to come. Check out the cast below; with the veil now dropped you will know exactly who is writing what character!
A massive thank you and round of applause to Jon T for coining the idea of the project, creating all the supporting documents/artwork and being our dinner host! Consider looking into his work and supporting him at Ferns of Columbo.
Quick note: As was mentioned above, this project was very chaotic so do not expect a refined, cohesive story. Characters came and went, some never returned, one or two never showed, and there really is no ending due to interest dying out or time constraints from others. However, the 120+ pages that are available is absolutely a great read with interesting characters that sometimes enjoy conversing with each other and other times are at each other’s throats.
Below you will find the PDF version of the document available for download. Enjoy!

Your Weekly Horror Digest
Debuting in his first Macabre Monday Sean Thomas McDonnell dropped a flash fiction piece for your viewing pleasure titled, “The Hanging of Lester Bragg”.
The Midnight Blue Sea gave us a chilling poem to read about everyone’s favorite fallen angel called, “Ice”. Might want to bundle up before reading this one!
Jean Marie Bauhaus gave us a two for one special! One one hand she gave us some backstory on the main characters in her story, “Flesh and Blood” and on the other hand she gave us an article dissecting the biblical views of ghosts.
sleightsofheart watched Interview With a Vampire for the first time and reviewed the film. Check out their thoughts below!
The Man Behind the Screen wrote a terrifyingly tasty little tale for you to gorge on titled, “The Local Flavor”…Curious, does it make it worse that the story was inspired by a Valentines dinner with his wife?
John Coon cleverly pointed out that last week’s Macabre Monday fell upon President’s Day. Naturally, this caused him to talk about horror that coincides with presidents or political figures. That’s not all! He also dropped his latest horror story titled, “Mulberry House”.
A. B. Frank generously wrote an article on where to start with Gas Lamp horror, which is quite a niche sub-genre of horror, though a very fun one!
Last but not least, Goatfury Writes wrote about—and I quote—A very bad way to die.
That’s all we have for you this week! Check back in next Monday for a new community project to be apart of.
Don’t forget about the upcoming deadline for the Wicked Writing Contest - March 18th! Read more about it here for all of the grisly details.

It was fun! I think I fell asleep in a broom closet somewhere drunk.
This was really fun to do. I think the biggest difficulty was time zone differences. That made less difference at the start, but when the action kicked off it had an impact for me. Even so, it worked better than I think anyone could have guessed.
Thank you 🙂
